Innovative development of environmentally friendly fibers

Leaves are the agriculture waste once the fruit were cultivated .

In Taiwan , There are more than 500,000 tons of Pineapples

cultivated from over 10,000 Ha land .

When cultivate the fruit , farmers took the crown and Fruit out ,

and leaves the other part on the land ,

which become the agriculture waste .

In Taiwan , Farmers can get 60 ton fruit in one agricultural ,

but there were 72 tone leaves left as agriculture waste at the same time .

Pineapple Leave is the by-product of pineapple ,

which consume no water or fertilizer

on purpose when growing ,which we then conclude it

consume no water footprint and no extra CO2

emission during the cultivation .
